I’m back home now after jet setting to Auckland for some bopping with Justin Timberlake for one night. I have clocked in some good miles this week on my new wheels.
But the major news this week is that I have signed the dotted line and gave myself away to new travels for 6 months in 2008.
I have signed with the American Professional Women's team TIBCO.
I am very excited about this. It’s going to be a massive 6 months with flying here and there to race the American Circuit. I round the team out being the youngest member on the Elite Squad, which is made up of girls with amazing and brilliant talent.
This means I will be living in California from February till August (I hope it's warm over there by then!) I will have to develop my non-existent traffic riding skills quickly as we are based in Palo Alto, just on the south side of San Francisco, which I'm picturing to be somewhat busier than the Waikato country roads I traverse daily!

At the moment my focus is training towards the Elite Nationals in mid January which will be held in the Hawke’s Bay.
I hope everyone is enjoying riding into the New Zealand summer as much as I am; I am already planning my Christmas day training around my Christmas day eating!
