What a cracker way to kick start the Molenberg SUB Series for 2008!!

Thanks SO much you guys!! Not just for organizing picture-perfect Christchurch weather for the event - but for creating such a cool atmosphere for the day. Just so cool to see everyone supporting each other – from you guys actually competing, to the marshals, to supporters. Everyone was just into it!

And CONGRATULATIONS on completing the first of the 2008 Molenberg SUB Series..! Whether you were a first timer, or back for more punishment from last year, nice work! There were some pretty impressive performances off and on the road – those that tackled the new event of the Half Marathon and other Striders were exceptionally speedy in exceptionally non-speedy conditions (a littler sandier than expected perhaps!)…and those that took home the yellow jerseys in the Cycling Events had some tough competition to take out line honours. And all of you that tackled your own personal challenges and conquered them – congratulations!! I hope you enjoyed that well deserved wine or other appropriate indulgence post-event last night!!

We’re off to Palmerston North this coming weekend, to take the Molenberg SUB Road-show to the Manawatu! So thanks Canterbury, for giving us a great start to the series! As always, any feedback please fire away – we’re obviously here to give you guys the best reason possible to get yourself in motion, so it’s great to know if we’re  on the right track.
